The BIO Kale Powder is particularly suitable for use in smoothies, muesli, bowls, shakes, soups, green sauces or as a supplement in doughs for bread. With a high bioavailability it enriches the nutrition-conscious kitchen in a natural way. Kale comes from the cruciferous family (Brassicaceae). The BIO Kale Powder is residue controlled, from naturally organic cultivation and free of additives.
The kale powder is obtained from pure kale and is harvested during the winter months. The vegetable has been known in Germany since the 16th century and is often eaten in the winter months as a hearty stew. It is very rich in vitamins and low in calories. Because of its healthy ingredients, kale is classified as very beneficial in Germany. Kale is rich in antioxidants, minerals and fibre, which are particularly good for our intestines. Other special features are that kale is rich in calcium and proteins. It also contains a high proportion of Omega 3 fatty acids, which support our brain.
