for 1 serving

Preparation

  1. If using fresh ginger, peel and grate the ginger, and add it to a blender. If you are using powdered ginger, that's ok, just add that to the blender.
  2. Next, shred carrots and that to the blender, along with remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend on high speed for about one minute, until the smoothie is nice and creamy.
  4. Adjust liquid to taste!
  5. If you like more creamy texture, try adding 1/4 cup almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice).
