Where does the cashew nut come from?
The cashew nut has its Origin in Brazil, there it grows on cashew trees about 15 meters high. Strictly speaking, cashews are not nuts, but kernels. Because the cashew tree forms pear shaped cashew apples, at the lower end of which the cashew kernels grow. Accordingly, they are stone fruit from a botanical point of view. Meanwhile, the cashew tree is also native to India and many countries in Africa, where cashew apples are even processed into juice, jam or liquor. In our country, however, only the cashew kernel enjoys great popularity and is sold in many different forms and dishes.

FAQ
Questions?
